Brockswood is a 100% dog-friendly site, and we absolutely love meeting your furry friends. We even have our own Secure Dog Run and host our own Annual Dog Show - keep an eye out for our 2023 date!

 

Our residents are used to seeing dogs and aren’t bothered by them (if they’re well-behaved and on leads) so no need to worry about that. As an important part of your family, we want you to be able to enjoy time together, instead of leaving them behind at home – or even worse, in a hot car! It is also a great opportunity for you to socialise your dogs and introduce them to some of the animals they may meet out on countryside walks in a controlled environment.

We have water bowls and lots of cold water taps around the sanctuary that you are more than welcome to use if you prefer to bring your own. Our shop is also dog friendly, so you can bring them with you for a bite to eat, or why not grab a picnic blanket and settle down on the grass together outside?

 

Our accessible toilet is also big enough to take your dog inside if you have no one else with you to hold your dog (we are always very happy to - just ask a member of our team!)

We are planning some short dog-themed courses and training sessions in the future, so do keep an eye out if you're interested in learning more.
