Dog Run Terms & Conditions
You will be asked to read and agree to our Terms & Conditions before you make a booking with us. Please read them carefully and contact us if you are unsure of anything. Thank you.
Covid-19
If you are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus, or think that you may have been in contact with someone who has, please do not use the dog run and self-isolate. We are asking visitors to wear a face-covering whilst inside the shop/main entrance if you can, but you are welcome to take this off once you are outside.
You and your dog
Please ensure that your dogs are adequately vaccinated to use a public place. If your dog is showing any signs of illness do not use the secure field and be respectful of other pets and their owners.

Dogs should not be left unattended at any time. You should accompany your dog at all times, so that you are aware of what your pet is doing and that they are safe.
At your own risk
While we make every effort to make our facilities safe for you and your dog, you agree that your use of the dog run is at your own risk, and agree not to hold ‘Brockswood Animal Sanctuary’ responsible for any injury to you or your dogs arising from your use of the run. The sanctuary and dog run are large outdoor spaces, and contain areas of uneven ground and could contain other hazards consistent with the farm/countryside environment.

The run and pathways may become muddy in bad weather - we suggest wearing sturdy walking boots or wellingtons during these times.
You agree not to let anyone else into the dog run, other than any friends or family members you have brought with you to enjoy walking your dogs.
By bringing friends or family, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you take full responsibility for their safety and for ensuring that they abide by these terms and conditions at all times whilst using the run.
Children
You are welcome to bring your children with you, but they must be supervised at all times. You are responsible for making sure that they do not injure themselves or break any of the Terms and Conditions.
Animal Sanctuary
You agree not to enter any other parts of the sanctuary without paying admission (we rely on this funding to continue our work with rescued animals) - dogs are very welcome to visit and our animals are used to seeing them. Please ensure your dogs are kept on their leads until you enter the dog run and again before leaving.
Using the field
It is your responsibility to pick up all of your dog’s waste and dispose of it in the poo bin provided or please take it home - not picking up after your dog could result in you being banned from using the run.
We suggest that you aim to arrive a little before your booked slot to give you time to get booked in and walk to the run.
Please ensure that you vacate the run promptly leaving it secure at the end of your booking time. Please padlock the gate behind you as you leave the secure area.

​Although we will be inspecting and maintaining the fence regularly, holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time due to a number of reasons including digging by dogs or other animals, falling trees or branches and general wear and tear. If you become aware of any issue, please let us know immediately so that we can make other users aware and so that we can fix it as soon as possible.

We understand that digging is a natural instinct for some of your dogs - if your dog digs, please attempt to fill any holes and inform us if there is significant damage so that we can ensure they are filled back in.
Emergencies
Our nearest First Aid point is located at our entrance and several First Aiders will always be on site.

You will be issued with a two-way radio on arrival which can be used to easily contact us in the event of an emergency and so that we can easily reach you. In the event of a fire, animal escape, or other site evacuation, you must adhere to instructions given by Brockswood Animal Sanctuary staff.
Bookings
Bookings can be re-scheduled up to 1 day before your slot.
All bookings must be paid for in advance – either by PayPal or card at the time of booking.
Updates
We may need to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do this we will let you know via email and on our website.
By making a booking, you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions on the website at the time of making your booking.
Privacy & Data Use
Brockswood Animal Sanctuary is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We hold your personal information in a safe and secure environment to provide you with a service and for internal record keeping. Your name is needed to track payments and your contact details are needed for booking confirmation, and updates on information about the field such as closures due to maintenance. By processing your booking and indicating that you would like to receive this information from us, you consent to us using your personal information as described above.
Your personal information will never be shared with any third party without your explicit consent.
