Sanctuary Workshops

Our first sanctuary craft workshops are finally here! We aim to utilise the beautiful natural environment around us to facilitate fun outdoor activities for both you and your children. We're fortunate to have such a fantastic setting here at Brockswood, which provides not only a space for our crafts but also inspiration and materials for our workshops. Some of our activities are even inspired by our native wildlife and our lovely Brockswood residents – whom we look forward to getting to know better together as we explore a variety of themes with each other.

We believe in being mindful of our impact on the environment, so we'll show you how to repurpose everyday items into fun and useful objects that might bring you a new appreciation for something you may have simply thrown away. We'll also be using materials found in nature, and creating something new with them, such as beautiful leaf art and natural weaving, the possibilities are endless!

We can't wait to see you at our workshops, and to share in the joy of creating and learning in nature together!

Art & Craft Workshops

Come and enjoy our creative workshops this summer!

Welcome to our sanctuary art and craft workshops! We are thrilled to have you join us. Our sessions are fun, but they can get a little messy, so please dress accordingly. As we will be outdoors, please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

Our workshops are open to all individuals aged four and above, with no upper age limit. We are confident that both children and adults will enjoy the workshops we have planned. Each purchase includes one free accompanying adult, allowing you to share in the fun and create happy memories together. You are welcome to take photos and share your final creations with us.

Lucy, our wonderful host and a member of our animal care team, will guide you on this adventure. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about our work or our beloved Brockswood residents. Whether you are creating a Malcolm mask, making leaf art in the shape of Freya the fox, or painting Groot the goat on your rock, this is your chance to learn more about them.

As part of the workshop, you are eligible for reduced entry to the sanctuary. For only £3, you can spend more time with our rescued residents and extend your day. We depend on admission fees to raise essential funds for animal care, and these funds will be allocated directly to their well-being. Thank you for your support!
